Former Pupil (Wezi Kanowa) Gives Motivational Speech
Today (10th May, 2019) we welcomed back Wezi Kanowa, a former pupil of Crownhill School. Wezi gave learners a short motivational speech, where she told learners about her time at Crownhill School, encouraging them to work hard and take advantage of the opportunities at the school.
While she was at Crownhill School, Wezi participated in the International Children's Day of Broadcasting at FeelFree Radio Station. She also participated in the International Library Day held at the City Library in Chipata. She stated that because of her participation in these events, she learned how to speak freely to a large audience.
Wezi is now in Grade 9 at St. Monica's Secondary School. She continues to take part in national competitions such as Social Sciences Teachers' Association of Zambia (SOSTAZ) where she obtained position number ONE. This fair brings together all provinces to compete in project presentations and quizzes.
Crownhill School was very happy to welcome her back. We are indeed laying a SOLID foundation for a BRIGHTER FUTURE.
She also left us a message in our Visitor's Log Book. Take a look!
We hope and KNOW that Wezi will continue to work hard and continue to soar higher.
