Sports Day at Crownhill School

On Friday 13th September, we held a weekly sports day event, with the sporting activity being 'Relay'. It was a sunny day, with the pupils performing brilliantly. They displayed determination, perseverance and a great amount of effort.

There are advantages to Sports Day. It is parallel to the real world in terms of competitiveness and pupils who are involved get to understand and develop their ability to perform in a highly competitive setting, which is a skill that is highly required in the workplace post education.

Sports Day brings the whole school body together for the day. It is also an incredible opportunity for pupils, teachers and support staff to support their sporting houses.
