End of Term 3 - Letter to Parents

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for supporting your children in Term 2.

Staff Changes: Government has deployed seven teachers from this school. This has caused little or no disruptions as they worked to the closing day. All the seven teachers have been replaced.

Orbituary: During the course of the term, we lost Chilando Luhanga, a 4 Year Old pupil who was in Nursery B. His death was untimely and devastating. MHSRIP.

Functional French: Grades 2 to 7 received French lessons, they gained confidence and should be able to communicate if the situation demands. They have also been motivated to take up French when they go to Secondary School. Once again, we thank the friends of Crownhill School, Madame Genevieve and Monsieur Yvon for their passion and dedication. We wish them a safe trip back to France and we look forward to their return to Zambia.

Scholarships: Three upper primary pupils won partial scholarships for attaining first position in the just ended termly tests. They will, therefore, only pay K2,300 each in Term 3. These are: Keisha Musonda (G5), Lonjezo Tembo (G6) and Angel Kifumbato (G7). Encourage your child to work hard so that they can be the next winner of the scholarship.

Uniform: Children are only allowed to wear prescribed uniform. This includes socks and sportswear.

Report Books: Kindly ensure to return report books to school at the start of next term. We will need them for term 3 end of term entries.

Opening: Term 3 starts on Monday 5th September, 2022 and ends on Friday, 2nd December, 2022. Grade 7 will, however, open on 22nd August, 2022. If you are taking your children on transfer, kindly let us know during the holidays.

We wish all the children an enjoyable holiday and look forward to welcoming them back to school.

Kindest regards,

Crownhill School
